OK. You polished off some nice chow at one of Bethesda’s 200 restaurants. The evening is young. Life is good. But then you freak out. What next? Where do I go to hear some damn live music around here?

Freak no more. Flanagan’s Harp and Fiddle, located smack dab in the middle of Bethesda, has great bands four nights a week, cold Guinness, scrumptious pub grub, an outdoor area for nic-fits, and a comfy, friendly vibe that says, “Come on in, kick back, and have a pint.”

Come check it out this Wednesday, October 25 when the Oxymorons will take the Harp and Fiddle stage from 8:30 pm until the wee hours. We’ll be playing our funkily eclectic mix of Americana roots, Chicago blues, New Orleans funk, and classic rock. Joining us will be two special guests: Melissa Knutson, former singer with Dead Girls and Other Stories, will belt out vocals; and mild-mannered madman and drummer-about-town Coleman O’Donahue will beat the tubs.

Wed, Oct. 25, 8:30 pm – 12:00
