The Oxymorons kick off the new year this Thursday January 11 with an
early show at the Quarry House, a hip watering hole in downtown Silver
Spring.

A legend since 1934, the Quarry House has the biggest beer list in
Montgomery County, the best burgers around, a fine whisky and scotch
collection, and a great back room for live music.  Best of all: tater tots.

So leave your tots at home and come out for the potato variety, washed
down with some tasty hops and a soulful dose of New Orleans funk,
Chicago blues, Americana roots, and old-school jam-out rock.

If you've already broken your New Year's resolution, don't worry.
"I will get to know some new beers" will do, especially in the cozy
environs of an old speakeasy tavern with the funkily eclectic sounds
of the Oxymorons rolling from the Quarry House stage.  We love this
place and hope you do too so we can turn this first date into a
long-term relationship.
